Objectives of The Victoria Society for Children with Autism:

  • To promote increased awareness of autism
  • To provide support and information to families of individuals with autism and related conditions.
  • To support  the development of alternative living and vocational situations for autistic persons.
  • To support research in the field of autism and similar conditions.

VSCA endeavours to provide, through our monthly meetings, newsletters & website, a forum for parents and professionals to communicate on the many issues surrounding autism and a network for parent and family support. Our active fund raising program is helpful in providing financial support to our members.  VSCA works through community involvement in:

  • Monthly meetings and special events.
  • Sponsorship to seminars, workshops or conferences.
  • Resource library with material for families and professionals
  • Liaison with schools, government and service providers.
  • Purchase of goods and services which will be of direct benefit to people with autism.
